(unrelated) questions I've asked today:
Why do so many people have a bad taste in their mouth for God?
Exactly how often does leadership involve apologizing?

Yesterday I had a day of apologies as a leader, in a couple different contexts. But I've found that humility as a leader (such as "I can't do this") begets the attitude where apologies flow freely. And apologies when appropriate make us even more relatable. I own my slip-ups. And when I identify them, I shine light on it and say, "Hey, I don't want to repeat that." Sometimes that happens publicly, sometimes one-on-one, sometimes privately. But spend too much time apologizing and people get the idea of "why am I following this dufus?"
